Native cofactor present in every living cell. Charged species — the nicotinamide nitrogen carries a permanent positive charge.

Worth knowing before you buy

The sodium salt is a MONOsodium salt at 685.4. A product labelled "NAD+ disodium salt" at about 709 is either mislabelled or is actually NADH — the reduced form — which is a different substance with different handling.
